Curling season is just around the corner and we’re so excited to get this season started! We are thrilled to announce that we have been invited to participate in the new Curling Alberta Excel Program which replaces the former Podium Program. We qualified based on a point system applied to last season’s achievements.
The Excel Program is offered to teams that “demonstrate potential to compete at the provincial level and perhaps beyond.” It will “provide top young teams with expert coaching and sport science support with the goal of enhancing both current performance and future potential.” We are honoured to be recognized as a top U18 women’s team this year and are looking forward to continuing to grow and improve our skills both on and off the ice through the Excel Program.
